Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the following instructions for use must be followed.
The dose of diclofenac depends on the severity of the disorder.

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents from 16 years of age is 1 tablet 1 to 3 times a day (corresponding to 50 to 150 mg of the active substance diclofenac sodium).

Method of use

Swallow Dicloberl 50 mg tablets whole on an empty stomach with a large amount of liquid (a glass of water) one or two hours before a meal.

Duration of use

The decision on how long to use will be made by your doctor.
Rheumatic diseases may require long-term use of Dicloberl 50 mg tablets.
Adverse drug reactions can be reduced by using the lowest effective dose needed to control symptoms for the shortest duration possible (see “Warnings and precautions”).
If you have the impression that the effect of Dicloberl 50 mg tablets is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor.

Active substance, class of medicinal product and mode of action

Dicloberl 50 mg tablets contain the active substance diclofenac sodium. These are painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Use

For the symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in the following cases:
- acute inflammation of the joints (acute arthritis), including gout attacks;
- chronic inflammation of the joints (chronic arthritis), especially rheumatoid arthritis (chronic polyarthritis);
- Bechterev's disease (ankylosing spondylitis) and other inflammatory and rheumatic diseases of the spine;
- irritation in degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthrosis and spondyloarthrosis);
- inflammatory rheumatic diseases of soft tissues;
- painful swelling or inflammation after injury.

The release of the active substance diclofenac sodium from Dicloberl 50 mg tablets may be delayed and may be delayed. Therefore, Dicloberl 50 mg tablets should not be used to initiate treatment in patients requiring rapid onset of action.

If you do not feel better or feel worse, you should consult your doctor.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Pregnancy

If you become pregnant during treatment, tell your doctor. Dicloberl 50 mg tablets should only be used during the first six months of pregnancy in consultation with your doctor. They must not be used during the last three months of pregnancy because of the increased risk to the mother and baby.

Breastfeeding

Diclofenac, like other NSAIDs, is excreted in human milk in small amounts. Therefore, diclofenac should not be used during breast-feeding to avoid adverse reactions in the infant.

Fertility

Dicloberl 50 mg tablets (like all medicines that inhibit prostaglandin synthesis) may make pregnancy more difficult. You must tell your doctor if you are planning to become pregnant or if you have problems getting pregnant.
